We're a small craft business (obrt) registered in Croatia, run by one person who makes everything by hand.

Our pieces

Everything is handmade from shells and materials gathered by the sea, so no two pieces are identical. Small variations in shape, colour and texture are part of the character rather than defects, and screens can shift colours a little from the real thing.

Some pieces are one of a kind and there is genuinely only one. If something sells out between you adding it to your cart and paying, we'll contact you and refund you in full.

Prices

All prices are in euros (EUR) and are the final price you pay for the piece. VAT is not charged, as the seller is not registered in the VAT system under Croatian VAT law.

Shipping is not included in the item price. It is added as a separate line at checkout, so the total you confirm before paying is the total you're charged. We can change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

How an order becomes a contract

1. You add pieces to your cart and go to checkout.
2. You enter your delivery and contact details and pay by card. Before you pay you'll see the pieces, the price of each, the shipping cost and the total. The payment button makes clear that placing the order means paying for it.
3. Your order is an offer to buy. The contract between us is concluded when we send you the order confirmation email.
4. We keep a record of your order, and the confirmation email is your copy of the contract. You can order in English or Croatian.

To order you need to be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian do it for you.

Payment

We accept card payments, handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure checkout. Your card details go to Stripe and never to us, and we never see or store your full card number. Payment is taken when you complete checkout.

Delivery

We ship within Croatia via BoxNow for a flat €2, and to the rest of the European Union for a flat €10. Dispatch, delivery times and what to do about a delayed parcel are all set out on our Shipping Policy page, which forms part of these terms. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you or someone you nominate takes physical possession of the parcel.

Changing your mind, and faulty pieces

You have a 14-day right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason, with a narrow exception for made-to-order and personalised pieces. You also have a two-year legal guarantee that what you bought matches its description and works as it should. Both are explained in full, along with the withdrawal form, on our Return Policy page, which forms part of these terms.

Complaints

You can send a written complaint by email to milesthecreator4@gmail.com or by post to our registered address above. Please include a contact address so we can reach you. We'll confirm we received it and reply in writing within 15 days.

Photos and designs

The photographs, designs, text and logo on this site are ours. You're very welcome to share our photos on social media with credit, but please don't use them commercially, resell our designs as your own, or copy the site's content without asking us first.

What we're responsible for

We're responsible for delivering what you ordered, in the condition described. We're not responsible for delays outside our control, such as carrier problems, extreme weather or illness, though we'll always tell you what's happening and sort out a fair solution. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page shows when we last changed anything. These terms are governed by Croatian law, and any dispute we can't settle between us falls to the competent court in Croatia. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in.
